The Literati Ethos And Public Banquet Poems And Odes In Jian’an

The Public Banquet is a literary subject that occupies an important position in Jian’an literature and even in the literature of the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,especially Jian’an’s Public Banquet works,which play a demonstrative role in the entire history of Public Banquet literature.This article takes the Public Banquet Poems and Odes created by the aristocratic literati group during the Jian’an period as the research object,and combines the life experience,words and deeds,personality mentality and aesthetic taste of the literati in the Jian’an period to explore the relationship between the scholarly style and the Public Banquet Poems and Odes in this period.It also summarizes the content and artistic characteristics of Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes,summarizes the influence of An Public Banquet Poems and Odes on later generations’ literature,and perfects and deepens the research on Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is a textual research on the ethos of literati in Jian’an,which investigates the transformation of the ethos of literati from the great chaos in the end of Han Dynasty to period of Jian’an.At the end of the Han Dynasty,the regime was full of internal and external troubles and conflicts.The dynasty collapsed,the people were in chaos,the army was held in high regard all over the country,and the despotism was weakened.The literati turned to new forces one after another,and they were baptized in the new era and new atmosphere,showing a different spiritual outlook from the literati of the Han Dynasty.The second part is the subject matter of the style of literati and Public Banquet Poems and Odes.From this part,we begin to explore the performance of literati ethos of Jian’an in literature."Human awakening" and "literary consciousness" made the literary works of the Jian’an period show a very different appearance from the Han Dynasty.In terms of the subject matter,the relative stability and prosperity of the society during the Jian’an period provided a favorable environment for the creation of Public Banquet Poems and Odes.In this period,the content of Public Banquet Poems and Odes was mainly divided into scene description,game,and eulogy.Most of them showed the unique spiritual outlook and individual mentality of Jian’an literati,and personal emotions were fully expressed during this period.The third part is the artistic characteristics of the ethos of literati and Public Banquet Poems and Odes.Discussing the artistic characteristics of Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes from the three aspects of emotion,language and structure,it reflects that Jian’an literati’s aesthetics of literary form and art are different from Han poetry.The fourth part is the influence of Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes on the literature of later generations.Regarding the generous Jian’an ethos,literary entertainment and the beginning of the landscape description embodied in Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes,talk about its exemplary and far-reaching influence in the history of literature,Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes has a Contribution that cannot be ignored in the history of Literature.The last part is the supplementary argument.Starting with the evaluation of Jian’an Public Banquet Poems and Odes in "Selected Works" and "Wen Xin Diao Long",we should consider what kind of attitude we should have when we comment on a type of work or literary phenomenon,which enlightens us to consider many factors.
