| The British aestheticism writer Oscar Wilde(1854--1900)and the Chinese thinker Zhuangzi are the focus of various literary and cultural studies.Based on the current research situation at home and abroad,this paper continues to deepen the research on the relationship between Zhuangzi’s thought and Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism thought.The formation of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism thought was influenced by both western culture and Zhuangzi’s thought in ancient China,among which Oscar Wilde’s anti moral moralism and humorous writing style coincide with Zhuangzi’s thought.This shows that the relationship between Zhuangzi’s thought and Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism,both the influence of Zhuangzi’s thought,and in some ways,there are similarities with Zhuangzi’s thought,showing the characteristics of the fusion of Oscar Wilde’s thought and culture.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of the text includes four parts.The introduction section introduces the background and significance of the topic,the current research situation,innovations,research ideas and methods about Zhuangzi’s influence on Oscar Wilde at home and abroad,this section clarifies the background and basis of the topic selection,it provides the theoretical framework for the text.The first part shows the spread of the ancient Chinese classic Zhuangzi,and analyzes the turning point of Zhuangzi’s influence on Oscar Wilde.The English version of Zhuangzi is known by the English sinologist Herbert Giles to the British readers,Oscar Wilde reads,appreciates and admires Zhuangzi and interprets Zhuangzi as a relativism,this phenomenon is worthy of attention,as a representative writer of the aestheticism,oscar Wilde absorbed and accepted Zhuangzi’s ideas and embodied them in his works.The second part,by analyzing Oscar Wilde’s anti realism,anti moralism and the pursuit of hedonism,systematically explains the influence of Zhuangzi on the formation of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism.In the formation of Oscar Wilde’s new aesthetic concept,aestheticism,there are many cultural factors in China and the west,anti realism in his literary thought,the idea of anti moralism and the pursuit of sensuality was profoundly influenced by the ancient Eastern philosopher Zhuangzi.The third part focuses on the relationship between Zhuangzi’s humorous style and Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism,the similarities of their writing styles are compared in terms of the humorous language style,the metaphorical writing technique,the tension effect of the counterargument and the aestheticism of the characterization in Oscar Wilde’s works,and the relationship between Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism and Zhuangzi’s.The fourth part,from the angle of the fusion of Chinese and Western culture,analyzes the cultural reasons for the formation of Oscar Wilde’s thought,Oscar Wilde’s aesthetic salvation and Chinese ancient philosophy against the false social reality of Victoria,it reflects the formation of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism thought,which is characterized by the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.In the conclusion,Oscar Wilde and Zhuangzi have a lot in common,he absorbed Chinese cultural factors from Zhuangzi’s thought,which is conducive to building Chinese cultural self-confidence and enriching modern people’s spiritual life. |
