| In the late19th century of Britain and in the early20th century of China, as the slogan "Art for art" of the aestheticism literature ideological trend received the Favor of some intellectuals at the beginning of the twentieth century of the Chinese literary, some intellectuals actively translated and introduced aestheticism works of Oscar Wilde, setting off a wave of "Wilde boom". A foreign literary ideological trends to enter the horizons of Chinese intellectuals, not only closely related to social background of China and the requirements of the times, but also closely related to the aesthetic pursuit of intellectual itself. The writing style of Yu Dafu has largely received the influenceof Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism concept, but also performants some opposite sex to some extent. Mining and comparing the similarities and differences about the aestheticism view between the works of Yu Dafu and Oscar Wilde, there is great significance and academic value for us to study foreign literature ideological trend influence on modern literature in the20th century in China. Although it has such a significant academic value and significance, but study and compare of the two by the academic community is less and less, mostly concentrated in the studies of individual writers and works. Therefore, this paper makes a comparative study of the two, not only can fill the gaps in this aspect research, but also provide reference and significance for the study of foreign literary and artistic ideas of the modern Chinese literature in20th century,and also play a very good example of studying the spread and evolution of aestheticism from the perspective of comparative literature.The introduction part of the paper mainly explains the reason, significance and the academic research situation about the comparison of aestheticism between Oscar Wilde and Yu Dafu. On this basis, clarify research methods and pointed out that in this paper to efforts to solve the problem.The chapter one introduces Wilde who was influenced by French aestheticism and his aestheticism literature view. Analysis and compares the special background between China and Britain at that time, the crisis of the "End of the Century" and the confusion of the "beginning of the century" made the intellectuals who happen to coincide to chose art as their weapon against society, Discusses the the process of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism view affects Yu Dafu and Yu Dafu accepting the influence.The chapter two is starting from Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism concept,"Beauty is the core of the arts" and "art is supreme" as the argument. By close reading as the main means, Discusses and compares the similarities and differences in the creation of aesthetic between Wilde and Yu dafu. The works of Oscar Wilde and Yu Dafu all reflect the respection of the aesthetic ideology, pursuitting the beauty of artistic as the goal. They shaped the tragedy, the ugly image to shake the heart of people, so as to achieve an extraordinary enjoyment of beauty. Wilde carried art to the supreme status, believed that art is higher than life, art expresses the beauty but not true story, even through highlight the status of art by separating the relationship between art and life. In contrast, in Yu Dafu’s creation, art has always been deeply rooted in national culture of China. He Wants to use the power of art to wake up humanity, realistic problems he concerns are always the human survival, social revolution and national liberation and so on. So yu Dafu’s works of art has always been closely linked together with life.The chapter three starts from the fate of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism view in China, reflects on the places Yu Dafu transcend Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism. Yu Dafu used the experience of Oscar Wilde’s aestheticism for reference, at the same time, he Never been able to get rid of the heavy historical burden and the requirements of the times, which contributed him to surpass Wilde aestheticism to some extent. Yu Dafu selectively absorbed and drew lessons from to Oscar Wilde aestheticism, that will be a great significance in finding out the similarities and differences of the aesthetic tastes and deeper meaning of a particular historical period between China and the West.The paper through the comparative study of the the aestheticism concept between Wilde and Yu Dafu, we can examine the choice of Yu Dafu in the aestheticism concept. Their aestheticism view in common makes us see the subtle influence of western aestheticism on Chinese modern literature, the differences let us reflect upon a writer’s creation always restricted by their own psychological, cannot leave the foundations of national culture, even under the influence of foreign literature ideological trend, also show the different styles because of its personality psychology and national cultural differences. The spread and the evolution of aestheticism and the influence of foreign literature and art in Yu Dafu’s creation, deserves academics to examine and explore. Today, we study of aestheticism dissemination and acceptance aestheticism of Chinese literature, should placed it in a more open and diverse cultural horizons, in order to have a more objective understanding and evaluation on it. |
