A Comparative Study On The Language And Characters Of Tiaodongbawuyagui Scripture In Eya And Lijiang

The Naxi ethnic group is an ethnic minority group in Yunnan,Sichuan and Tibet provinces of China.The Dongba language they use is an ancient pictographic character,which is more primitive than the oracle bone inscriptions in terms of the development stage of characters.Dongba Scripture is the Scripture of Dongba religion of Naxi ethnic group.It records the ancient Dongba language and is the crystallization of Naxi people’s wisdom.It is also an important document to study the early characteristics,development and evolution of Dongba language.It is of great significance to explore and study Dongba Scriptures for rescuing Dongba culture.Different versions of the Dongba Scripture contain different regional and time information,reflecting the evolution of Dongba culture,so the comparative study of versions has important value.This paper chooses the Russian version and Lijiang version of the one-hand and representative Dongba scripture "dance dance and ghost pressing classic",and makes a comprehensive and detailed comparative study.Firstly,through the comparison of plots,the paper points out that there are 60% similarity in the plot of the two editions of scriptures.The difference in plot is one of the reasons for the differences between the two versions of the texts;secondly,through the comparison of phonological system,the development differences of the two versions of the phonetics are found;thirdly,the paper focuses on the comparative study of the characters,and points out the comparative theory of the comparative philology,Wang’s "six books" and "six books" theory of Yu Shi The author studies the simplification,reason and structure of the characters in the two versions by classification and quantitative research.Finally,the relationship between the two texts is compared,and the corresponding relationship between the language units and the characters symbols of the two editions of the Scriptures is discussed,and finally the internal laws of the evolution of the two versions of the Scriptures are sorted out.In addition,the author uses the concepts of "word group" and "context variant words" to summarize the complex characters.I hope that the writing of this paper can explore the research value of Dongba Scripture,improve the collection of ancient books of Dongba,and promote the development of Dongba text theory.
