On The Ethical Writing Of Li Peifu’s Local Novels

This study takes the ethical writing of Li Peifu’s local novels as the research object.The object of this study is the ethical writing of Li Peifu’s local novels.As a local writer of Henan,Li Peifu continues the tradition of local fiction since the New Literature,especially in ethical writing,and shows the vitality of realistic literature in contemporary times through his delicate and profound ethical writing.Thus,ethical writing is a keyword worthy of attention.Therefore,it is useful to investigate the origin,style,connotation and value of the ethical writing of Li Peifu’s local novels in order to point out their uniqueness,evaluate the significance of contemporary local novels,and even contribute to the construction of rural human civilization.The study uses a close reading of the text to analyze Li Peifu’s local novels in detail,based on the works and guided by the ethical writing issues.The study uses a close reading of the text to analyze Li Peifu’s local novels in detail.The study uses theories of narrative ethics,ethical criticism,aesthetic criticism,and underlying narrative to explain the narrative characteristics and ethical orientation of Li Peifu’s local novels.Using the socio-historical criticism method,we analyze the typical ethical writing in the novel.Using the comparative study method,we compare the uniqueness and similarity of Li Peifu’s novels among the Central Plains writers and their regional characteristics,and deepen the interpretation of the local and ethical characteristics of the works.First,Li Peifu inherits the narrative tradition of local novels,focusing on the real life and ethical situation of the countryside and the survival of individuals under the grand historical process;he also inherits the traditional ethical concept of Confucianism and tries to examine the real problems of rural ethics with it.Secondly,Li Peifu focuses on the dilemma of human existence,spiritual fracture and spiritual alienation in the midst of social transformation,reflecting the importance of individual spiritual dilemmas at the micro level and opening up a new direction of writing about survival ethics.Thirdly,Li Peifu looks at family ethics in the context of local society,paying particular attention to its transformation and changes,thus exploring the internal causes of ethical breakdown and trying to find a balance between tradition and modernity in order to realize the freedom of family ethics and personal ethics.Finally,Li Peifu focuses on the ethics of power and tries to transcend traditional official novels in the writing of power fables and power fields and to cut into the humanistic concerns behind them,but such writing also has limitations.On the whole,Li Peipu’s ethical novels focus on the dimensions of survival,family and power,expressing the urgent demand for ethical reconstruction in the period of social transition,the insistence on the care for human ethics in the countryside,and the respect,understanding and recognition of the various forms and ways of existence of individuals.While it is of great artistic value,it also provides a thought-provoking and practical path for solving the ethical problems of contemporary society,especially the tangled contradictions between tradition and modernity during the period of social transition.
