At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the New Army was in an era of sharp and intensified social contradictions. The contradictions between the Chinese nation and imperialism, the conflicts between feudalism and the masses, and the conflicts within the ruling clique of the Qing Dynasty were tumultuous. In such an era,the New Army was born as an armed group force for the Qing government to suppress the people’s uprising and maintain the ruling order. However,it became the grave diggers of the Qing Dynasty at long last. There must be complicated reasons for this realistic trend of "planting beans and getting melons".Hubei New Army,as the armed force that fired the first shot in the 1911 Revolution, became a typical representative of the alienation of the New Army in the late Qing Dynasty. In the 1911 Revolution,Hubei’s new army was the main force in the first attack on Wuchang,Hankou and Hanyang. This uprising was called "Hubei’s Soldier Revolution",which led to the research on the revolutionization of Hubei’s new army. The revolutionization of Hubei’s new army is judged on the basis of its actions and results. It refers to the process in which Hubei’s new army unveiled its uprising and overthrew the rule of the Qing government by means of violent revolution.In-depth exploration of the influencing factors of the revolutionization of the Hubei New Army has important theoretical significance for enriching the research on the revolutionary movement in Hubei and the Revolution of 1911.This paper studies the revolutionary problems of the new army in Hubei,Through Hubei under imperialist aggression and oppression by feudal forces,Hubei, which will move towards modernization, will be the background color.Taking the Hubei New Army, which was the first one in the late Qing Dynasty to deviate from the Qing government,as the research object, this paper deeply explores the factors that led the Hubei New Army to the revolution, explains the reasons for the revolutionization of the Hubei New Army from a more concise perspective, and makes a general evaluation of the advantages, disadvantages and historical status of the revolutionization of the Hubei New Army. The full text is roughly divided into five parts. The first part mainly includes the background and significance of the topic selection, research methods and the current research status at home and abroad, providing direction and reference for the writing of the paper. The second part is based on the relevant historical materials of the new army in the late Qing Dynasty and Hubei area in the late Qing Dynasty, explaining the whole process of the compilation and training of the new army in Hubei Province from the nature of the new army in the late Qing Dynasty, pointing out the social background of the revolutionization of the new army in Hubei Province, and at the same time roughly sorting out the process of the revolutionization of the new army in Hubei Province. The third and fourth parts explore the influencing factors of the revolutionization of Hubei’s new army from both internal and external aspects. On the one hand,it explores the internal factors of the revolutionization of Hubei’s new army based on its strong sense of resistance, heavy sense of social responsibility and high level of knowledge. On the other hand,it explains the external thrust of Hubei revolutionary groups to Hubei new army from the process and method of launching the new army by Hubei revolutionary groups and the advantages and characteristics of Hubei revolutionaries in mobilizing the new army. The fifth part combines the above-mentioned analysis and induction of the influencing factors of the revolutionization of the new army in Hubei, sublimates the evaluation of the new army in Hubei, explains the advantages and limitations of the revolutionization of the new army in Hubei, and grasps its historical position as a whole.
