Lao Tzu’s View Of Nature And Its Contemporary Value

Ecological problem is a hot issue that human society pays high attention to at present.The relationship between man and nature has also become the focus of scholars at home and abroad.Lao Tzu’s achievements contain a large number of views on nature,among which such views as "Tao begets all things","Tao follows nature","the unity of man and nature" and "contentment with knowledge" still have important guiding significance for understanding and grasping the current problem of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature,which is worth our in-depth exploration and systematic study.The study of Lao Tzu’s view of nature in this paper mainly solves three problems: one is to study Lao Tzu’s view of nature in the context of The Times and from the theoretical perspective to clarify the theoretical origin of Lao Tzu’s view of nature;The second is to reproduce the core content of Lao Tzu’s view of nature completely and systematically and show the theoretical charm of Lao Tzu’s view of ecological nature.Thirdly,it analyzes the promoting effect of Lao Tzu’s view of nature on ecological governance and ecological construction in contemporary China from the dual dimensions of theory and practice.The full text includes three parts:The first part comprehensively analyzes the theoretical origin of the formation of Lao Tzu’s view of nature.Through the study of Zhouyi,the view of nature and man in the Spring and Autumn Period,and the view of nature and Taoism in the Spring and Autumn Period,this paper analyzes the ideological origin of the formation of Lao Tzu’s view of nature.The second part excavates the core content of Lao Tzu’s view of nature systematically.By analyzing the overall thought of "Tao begets all things" and the thought of "Tao follows nature",this paper expounds Lao Tzu’s ecological wisdom and ecological realm.By analyzing the law principle of "nature does nothing",the moderate principle of "contentedness knows nothing" and the thrifty principle of "less privacy and less desire",this paper expounds the ecological practice principle of Lao Tzu By analyzing the concept of balance,the concept of harmony between man and nature,and the concept of science and technology,this paper expounds the concept of ecological development of lao-tzu.The third part deeply explores the contemporary value of Lao Tzu’s view of nature.The theoretical value of Lao Tzu’s view of nature is revealed by analyzing the ideas of ecological civilization "respecting nature,conforming to nature and protecting nature",the theory of "two mountains" and the Chinese scheme of global ecological governance.Through the analysis of inheriting the ecological wisdom of wholeness and balance,adhering to the ecological practice principle of respecting the law and absorbing the ecological development idea of harmonious coexistence,it is pointed out that people should learn to respect nature,actively adapt to nature and actively protect nature,so as to reveal the practical value of Lao Tzu’s view of nature.
