Abstract/Summary:
Using the theory and method of semantic orientation, this papermakes a preliminary discussion on the semantic orientation of the whole adverb system of Qinzhou Dasi Zhuang dialect, and draws somecorresponding conclusions.Apart from the introduction and conclusion, this thesis has four chapters. The first chapter defines, classifies and analyzes the semanticmeaning of the Zhuang adverbs. On the basis of synthetically considering the grammatical function and semantic features of the adverbs, this paper defines the adverbs.According to the principle of syntactic and semantic combination,Qinzhou Dasi Zhuang adverbs are divided into seven types:range adverbs, time adverbs, degree adverbs, mood adverbs, manneradverbs, frequency adverbs and negative adverbs. After classifying the sub-categories,the semantic meaning of each sub-category adverb is analyzed. The second chapter is the focus of the thesis. In this chapter, the semantic pointing characteristics of the seven subcategories of Zhuang adverbs are discussed by using the three concepts of"finger","item"and"link"proposed by Shao Jingmin.Through the analysis,it is concluded that the general adverbs of range adverbs are the fore-referringmultinomial adverbs. The statistical scope adverbs can be regarded as the postdenoting multinomial adverbs under certain conditions. The adverb of limited class scope is the adverb of multinomial after referring.Theadverb of the same category is the adverb of one item after the samecategory;Additional category adverbs can be described as two-fingered multinomial adverbs. The semantic orientation of time adverbs is very complicated,so semantic restriction is needed to help analyze thesemantic orientation of time adverbs. The adverbs of absolute degree in the adverbs of degree refer to the adverbs of single item after.Anexception is"ta(?)33",which is a single adverb before. The adverbs ofrelative degree are polyadverbs. The adverb of mood refers to the adverb of one item after. The adverb of manner refers to the adverb of one item after. In frequency adverbs, the adverbs of habitual meaning are theadverbs of single item after referring. The adverbs with repeatedmeanings are double-fingered multinomial adverbs; In addition, theadverbs of frequency which are repeated are polyconjugate adverbs. In the negative adverbs, except the form of pure negative adverb"mai55",the semantic pointing situation is more complex, the rest of the negative sub-words belong to the post adverbs. The third chapter analyzes the word order when the Zhuang adverbs are used together. When the adverbs are used together, they generallyfollow the following order:mood adverb→category adverb of the same kind and range adverb→general adverb of range→time adverb→statistical adverb of range→limited adverb→degree adverb→negative adverb→frequency adverb→mode adverb. The fourth chapter investigates the semantic direction ambiguity of Dasi Zhuang adverb and probes into the ways to eliminate the ambiguity. The semantic orientation ambiguity of Zhuang adverbs is caused by the"multinomial"and"multinomial"of adverbs, which can be eliminated by transformation analysis or combining pragmatic factors.
