| As a teaching tool, textbooks play an important role in the second language teaching, and the nationalized Chinese textbooks should take into account the individual characteristics of students from different native countries.Complement has always been a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a second language. It not only makes the teaching and learning of teachers and students full of many challenges, but also causes many difficulties for the compilers of textbooks in the selection and arrangement of complement. This paper refers to the contents of“The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level”(Jia Yi Ji),and under the guidance of the relevant principles and important theories of Chinese Second-language acquisition theory, this paper makes a comprehensive, concrete and in-depth analysis on the important problems of complement selection and arrangement in the compilation of “Basic Chinese” by Ren Jingwen, which is popular in Thailand at present. This article is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is introduction. This paper mainly expounds the reason of the topic selection, the basis for the selection and arrangement of complements and grammatical items,as well as the research summary, research object and research methods of “Basic Chinese”.The second chapter uses the method of Quantitative analysis and inductive analysis to analyze the whole situation of the complement selection, arrangement and practice design in“Basic Chinese”.The general arrangement of the complement includes the order of the complement, the division and explanation of the complement, the repetition frequency of the complement in the two volumes of “Basic Chinese”.And exercise design includes the design of exercise type and exercise quantity. The third chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the grammar point selection and arrangement of the complement in “Basic Chinese”and the causes.First of all,“The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level”(Jia Yi Ji)as a complement grammar selection and arrangement of the standard, and then through comparative analysis, the selection and arrangement of the advantages of a total of four points, but the disadvantages of three points. Finally,it compares with the Thai version of “Experiencing Chinese”(senior high school)and“Thai Learning Chinese”,which are also national Chinese textbooks. The advantages of the complement selection and arrangement of“Basic Chinese”are reasonable selection of types, simple and appropriate syncopation of grammar points, frequency of repetition and sufficient number of exercises.Through the study of the preface of the textbook and the papers related to the arrangement of the Thai Chinese textbook, the author points out that the advantages of the textbook come from following the principle of from easy to difficult, emphasizing the principle of pertinence, and attaching importance to the position of the number of practice; The main deficiencies are: unreasonable arrangement of the order, unscientific explanation of cases, practice type is not practical. The reasons for this lack are that there is no standard outline in Thailand, the editor’s Thai translation is not accurate enough and the role of communicative practice has been neglected. The fourth chapter is based on the relevant teaching practice and professional theory to improve the“Basic Chinese”complement selection and arrangement of the proposal. The four suggestions for completion are as follows: the selection of types should be standardized, grammar point segmentation should be reasonable, regular repetition should be guaranteed, and the amount of exercises should be appropriate; The five suggestions for improvement are as follows: the order of arrangement should conform to the reality, the explanation of grammar should be concise and accurate, the way of whole sentences should be used more for example, the design of exercises should take into account both fixed and varied, and the interest and practicality of exercises should be promoted. Finally,in the conclusion part, the author summarizes the main points of this paper and points out the shortcomings. |
