Bi Feiyu is good at using images to express personal thoughts and feelings and convey the spiritual experience of characters;through the selection and setting of images,his pen reflects the inner pain,suffering and spiritual loneliness suffered by various characters,and many characters in the novel are full of images This makes it possible to highlight.and more importantly,this type of writing also gives him a constant or multiple symbolic meaning in his novels,which contains his own deep thinking about the human nature,power,personal value and many other literary dimensions of a specific historical period..Therefore,this article focuses on the "imagery" in the novel as a clue,starting from Bi Feiyu’s personal mentality and writing background in different periods of creation,trying to reveal the evolution and characteristics of his novel imagery,clarify the construction method of his novel imagery,and The evolution of the image of the novel comes down to the spiritual connotation that runs through the text of the novel.The thesis is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part analyzes the evolution and characteristics of the imagery in Bi Feiyu’s novels.In the grand historical narrative period,Bi Feiyu’s diverse images of thunderstorms and colorful image clusters filled "history" with a gloomy,mysterious and unpredictable atmosphere,which actually hinted at historical unknowns and turbulence is a metaphor for the "puberty" that is difficult for many individuals in history,and this is also a young age on his literary road.In the mid-to-late 1990 s,he shifted from the exploration of history to the stage of real and present truthfulness.The metaphorical color of the novel image was obviously weakened,and the mysterious natural image was also reduced,mainly the high-rise buildings and remote control with the characteristics of the times.,Candles,etc.fit the plot,close to the real life imagery,this period can be regarded as his personal writing transition period.After 2000,Bi Feiyu became more obsessed with the creation of character images and the exploration of his spiritual world.The meaning and value of "people" became his main writing objects,and the metaphorical nature of textual imagery gradually disappeared.There are only occasional ones in the novel.The image of spiritual metaphor,the image itself can no longer refer to the subject that cannot narrate or is invisible,but is a kind of "tool" to suggest and expose the psychological state and fate of the character.The second part summarizes the construction strategies of some representative images in Bi Feiyu’s novels.From the different effects of imagery in the structure and content of the novel,in Bi Feiyu’s novels,the more representative image construction strategy mainly includes four aspects: First,the core image is the title of the article.The core image is directly used as the title of the novel,which makes the plot of the story compact and the structure of the novel more compact and exquisite;second,the juxtaposition of similar or opposite images.Deepen the metaphorical meaning of a single image,expand the narrative space of the novel,increase the tension of the novel,and increase the sense of hierarchy of the text;3.Set up synaesthetic imagery to mobilize readers’ multiple sensory feelings,so that readers can deeply perceive the "under the roof" of gender,father and son,etc.The subtle emotions and thinking in the "relationship";fourth,the imagery of the character’s name,the foreshadowing of the tragic fate is buried in the character’s name,which increases the tragic character of the character and the fate of the novel.The third part is to interpret the "unchanged" image and its spiritual content in Bi Feiyu’s novels.The images of "mirror","glass" and "ice" run through three different creative periods.They symbolize estrangement,alienation,and low-temperature interpersonal relationships.From these three unchanging images,it can be seen that Bi Feiyu has always maintained a pioneering consciousness in his creation,not only has continuous innovation in form,but also always has advanced consciousness in terms of the theme of the novel.He focused on the mental state and social situation of different groups,wrote the motif of "harm" from the emotional standpoint of humanistic care,and conveyed the hidden feelings of pain,anxiety and anxiety in the hearts of the bottom figures.
