A Research On Chinese Characters Of Radicals Of Beasts Of Shuo Wen Jie Zi

Shuo Wen Jie Zi(Hereinafter referred to as Shuo Wen)is a book of far-reaching significance compiled by Xu Shen for more than 20 years,which has important research value and reference value.Xu Shen initiated the style of radical arrangement,summed up 540 radicals according to the form and meaning of Chinese characters,put 9353 Chinese characters under each radical,analyzed the relationship between the form and meaning of Chinese characters one by one,and transmitted the historical and cultural information contained in them.Radical makes Chinese characters not only have the basis of classification in form,but also form a common category in meaning.The 17 radical Chinese characters included in Shuowen belong to the category of animal of beasts meaning,such as Si,Xiang,Hu,Hu,Yan,Zhi,Lu,Cu,Tu,Chuo,Huan,Shu,Neng,Xiong,Shuo,Bian,Zhi.Under the guidance of the theories of language philology and cultural linguistics,combined with the relevant theoretical knowledge of zoology,this paper makes a comprehensive study of Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen by using the literature method,statistical induction method and interdisciplinary research method.The paper is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part,introduction.This paper expounds the research significance of the topic,summarizes Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen and its related research results and research status,and defines the research objects and research methods.The second part is the fractal structure of Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen.First,the author analyzes the Zheng Zhuan character of the radicial of beasts,involving 13 pictographic characters,19 ideographic character,90 pictophonetic charactersof the body analysis.This paper focuses on the function of pictophonetic symbols,the function of phonetic symbols and the function of source.There are many types of signifying functions of symbols,including the categorical semantic symbols and marked semantic symbols.Second,the analysis the variant forms associated with different writing trdaitions of Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts,its type and formation mode are involved.There are 28 characters in variant forms associated with different writing trdaitions,which are mainly composed of five types,Zhou Wen,Gu Wen,Huo Ti,Zhuan Wen and Jin Wen.The third part is about the meaning system of Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen.According to Xu Shen’s interpretation,combined with the relevant theoretical knowledge of zoology,the meaning of Chinese characters radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen can be divided into four categories: name category,character category,behavior category and other categories.The following is further refined according to the interpretation and animal theory knowledge of Shuo Wen.Among them,name category have the largest number of Chinese characters,including total names,proper names,with a total of92 characters.This kind of Chinese characters reflects the ancients’ deep and detailed understanding beasts of animals,and also reflects the close relationship between ancestors and beasts of animals.The fourth part is about the cultural meaning of Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts of Shuo Wen.Taking the Chinese charactres of radicals of beasts as the core,combined with the relevant literature,this paper analyzes its form and meaning,and excavates the cultural information contained in the understanding,utilization and spiritual worship of beasts of animals in the Han Dynasty and before.it shows the development of the ancients in the level of material and spiritual life.The fifth part is the conclusion.Summarize the full text.
