In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jin-ping put forward the idea of "making the cultural relics collected in the forbidden palace, the heritage displayed on the vast land and the words written in ancient books alive",which guided the way forward for the activation of cultural heritage. However, many of the existing intangible cultural heritages in Aksu have been separated from their original cultural context and use scenarios, and have become a kind of "dead" static culture,or are barely maintained. How to make the static intangible cultural heritage in Aksu be energized and whether the path of activation is conducive to the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage in Aksu is the most real participant and driver of these problems. Therefore, the activation of intangible cultural heritage based on the perspective of tourists appears in the era of rapid economic development in Aksu.In this paper, through combing the relevant literature of intangible cultural heritage tourism development, heritage activation and tourists’ participation, the related concepts of intangible cultural heritage and intangible heritage activation are expounded.Based on the tourist satisfaction theory, cultural evolution theory, tourism sustainable development theory and social psychological basic theory, the activation path is put forward, which includes intangible cultural heritage restoration and activation, scene activation, environment activation, digital activation and innovation activation.Communication activation: taking intangible cultural heritage in Aksu as the research object, this paper analyzes the current situation of intangible cultural heritage tourism in Aksu, sends questionnaires to tourists to obtain data, and makes reliability and validity analysis, demographic characteristics analysis, tourism characteristics statistical analysis and tourists’ activation perception analysis with SPSS21.0 software to study the current situation of tourists’ activation perception of intangible cultural heritage in Aksu.It is found that:(1)The activation perception of intangible cultural heritage in Aksu area is analysis of means, and the activation perception of sense of age and history is the highest, while the activation degree of intangible cultural heritage itself is at a high level; The low degree of activation in shaping intimacy and intimacy shows that the static proportion is large, which leads to a series of problems such as lower tour duration and lower return rate.(2)According to IPA analysis, the IPA index of intangible cultural heritage restoration and activation in Aksu area is low,and the difference between satisfaction and importance is the smallest, which is the activation path of high importance and high satisfaction, and needs to be maintained.(3)Environmental activation is an activation path with high importance and low satisfaction, which needs to be improved;Scenario activation is an activation path with low importance and high satisfaction, which should be controlled moderately and carried out reasonably.(4)Innovative activation, digital activation and propagation activation have the highest IPA index, which is an activation path with high importance and low satisfaction, and should be improved first. From the empiricalanalysis,it can be seen that the overall return rate of tourists in Aksu area is at a low level, the proportion of static state is relatively large, and the dynamic factors need to be rich.Only by strengthening the participation of tourists can the life cycle of intangible cultural heritage be extended. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations for the intangible cultural heritage of the Aksu Prefecture are put forward: Tourists are satisfied with the protection of the Aksu Prefecture, and less satisfied with the dissemination, experience, digitization and innovation, these areas need to be strengthened and improved. The following proposals are put forward: First,to protect the authenticity of the intangible cultural heritage;Second,to upgrade the digital activation technology;third,to strengthen infrastructure construction;fourth,to strengthen the development of innovative models;fifth,to develop diversified modes of communication.
