A Study On The Expression Of Huian Female Theme In Ink Painting With The Creation Of Min Hai Hui Nv Series As An Example

Since the Great Leap Forward in 1958,all the young women from Hui’an county were convened by Hui’an county government for building Wu’tan reservoir(Now it has been named Hui’nv reservoir).In response to the call of county government and carrying forward the spirit of plain living and hard struggle,self-independence,dedicating yourself and you will win,Hui’an people,mostly young women,carried tools and foods to work in construction site across the mountains no matter how far it was from their home and how tired they were.No matter encountered with typhoon and rainstorm or dealt with extremely high difficulty of construction,they all stuck to doing their jobs and no hold back.Finally the reservoir had been built by Hui’an young women after getting through many troubles that came one after another.Because of the successful construction,the spirit that plain living and hard struggle,self-independence,dedicating yourself and you will win had become the symbol of Hui’an women,so these beautiful and hardworking Hui’an women came into artists’ eyes and heart.Therefore,the works about Hui’an women emerge in succession.This paper is related to the manifestation and operation research of the works about Hui’an women.The paper makes a thorough inquiry the ways of performances of ink portrait paintings about Hui’an womenis by the creation of series of ink portrait paintings about《Min Hai Hui Nv》.Taking Hui’an women as main subject of painting creation,it is extremely helpful for improving the technique of color expression and skill of brush-and-ink technique by depicting details of Hui’an women’ s life and researching expression form of ink portrait paintings.This paper has been divided into four chapters.There are some brief introductions about cultural convention,humanistic connotation and aesthetic characteristics about Hui’an county in first chapter,at the same time,introducing Hui’an women’ s unique cloth and special living background.The second part is introducing some outstanding printer works based on the works about Hui’an women,analyzing their printing expression and illustrating what I have learnt form it,in the meanwhile,laying the foundation for the following passages.The third part is critical section of this paper.It exhaustively illustrates the expression form of the works about Hui’an women from character modeling,composition form and application of color and ink and explores the diversity of expression form when printing some ink characters.The last chapter is according to my creation,illustrating what inspiration I have gotten for future creation,exploring my future research and pursuit for the ways of expression of ink portrait paintings.Finally,it is concluded that the form of expression supplemented by color ink to depict Huian female is more in line with the spirit of Huian female,this kind of mixed form of expression to depict the life of Huian female a bit of Huian female spirit of ink figure painting is I want to stick to the painting form of expression.
