A Study On The Chinese Translation Of "Jangel" Formula From The Perspective Of Relevance Translation Theory

Jangar is one of the three major epics in China and also the great epic of the Mongolian ethnic group.Here,the procedural language in Jangar is selected as the research object,not only considering the profound influence of this work,but also because of the representative application of procedural language in this work,which has been widely used in literary research.Through literature review,we can find that although there are a large number of previous studies on the Chinese translation of Jangar,their perspectives are different from each other.In this paper,a new perspective is selected to explore the Chinese translation of program language by applying the theory of relevance translation.Exploring how the specific meaning of the program language in the works can be better conveyed to the target readers through the translator,and finally the role of the program language in the original text and the target text can be achieved.Based on chao gejin’s theory of oral programming,this paper makes corpus statistics on the programming language of jangar translated into Chinese,and then selects the theory of relevance translation as the theoretical basis to explore the translation strategies and methods adopted by translators in the Chinese version of jangar.Finally,under the guidance of Relevance Translation Theory,this paper analyzes and discusses the Chinese translation of address form,horse name form and time and region form.This paper is composed of five parts: introduction,text(chapter1 to chapter 3),conclusion,appendix and reference.The main content of the introduction is the reason of the topic,the research status quo,the research methods,the research significance and the general situation of the research text.The first chapter mainly summarizes the introduction of the Chinese version of Jangar,the definition of the program language,and the situation and methods of establishing the Mongolian-Chinese bilingual corpus of Jangar.The second chapter analyzes and discusses the translation of program language in Jangar,mainly comparing and analyzing the Chinese translation examples of address language,horse name,time and region language and discussing the translation methods.The third chapter analyzes the translation process of Jangar’s procedural language into Chinese under the guidance of relevance theory,introduces relevance translation theory,and makes contextual analysis of the translation text of Jangar’s procedural language through the understanding of relevance translation theory.Summarization,the full text of a systematic and comprehensive overview of the views and conclusions.
