A Study On The Body Painting Of Yi People’s "Dumb Festival" In Qixuan Village,Xiangyun County,Dali

The "Dumb Festival" of the Yi people in Qixuan Village,Xiangyun County,Dali inherits the historical memory of the Yi people in a unique form of ethnic culture.As an important cultural and artistic expression symbol of the "Dumb Festival",the body painting shows the true beliefs,culture and aesthetics of the Yi people in Qixuan Village with its rich patterns.As we all know,body painting is the painting of colorful patterns on the bodies and faces of Yi villagers who play "dumb" people,expressing the religious beliefs and concepts of good and bad luck of the Yi people.With the implementation of "intangible cultural heritage" protection and the development of "dumb festival" culture,body painting patterns have also undergone changes,and their pattern categories,artistic forms,aesthetics and cultural connotations have undergone new changes,and gradually embarked on Exhibition on the contemporary art stage.From the perspective of ethnology and artistic anthropology,this article attempts to objectively present the status quo of body painting on the "Dumb Festival" of the Yi people in Qixuan Village.Analyze the pattern categories and artistic characteristics of body painting,and explore the cultural significance and development changes behind this artistic phenomenon on the basis of patterns,laying a certain theoretical foundation for more in-depth research in the existing field.The article is divided into five parts.The first part describes the "dumb festival" of the Yi people in Qixuan Village and the general situation of body painting.The second part discusses the categories and meanings of the body painting patterns of the "Dumb Festival" of the Yi ethnic group in Qixuan Village.The third part discusses the aesthetic and cultural connotation of the "Dumb Festival" body painting.The fourth part discusses the cultural changes of the "Dumb Festival" body painting patterns on the basis of the pattern category and connotation.The fifth part discusses the inheritors of body painting and the development path and innovative thinking of body painting under different development themes based on the idea of inheritance and development.
