On Laozi’s Ecological Aesthetics

As an aesthetic theory,ecological aesthetics has both theoretical and practical value.In this paper,from the perspective of contemporary ecological aesthetics,supplemented by the existing ancient books,research results,to explore Laozi’s ecological aesthetic thought,and try to carry on the aesthetic dialogue between ancient and modern,China and the West.The first chapter mainly discusses the background of Laozi’s ecological aesthetic thought,through the analysis of the ideological background,era background and Laozi’s personal identity,in order to explain the possibility of Laozi’s ecological aesthetic thought.In the second chapter,the connotation of Laozi’s ecological aesthetics is mainly explained from three aspects: "Tao" and ecological aesthetics,Laozi’s natural ecological aesthetics and Laozi’s political ecological aesthetics.The third chapter discusses the Contemporary Enlightenment of Laozi’s ecological aesthetic thought,and demonstrates the guiding significance of Laozi’s ecological aesthetic thought to the contemporary social practice from two aspects of building a modern ecological aesthetic view and building a harmonious ecological society.
