| "Yue" in ancient China not only refers to music,but also includes dance,poetry and other contents."Yue" is a comprehensive form of artistic expression,which mainly acts on the emotion and desire of human nature,and focuses on the education of human sensibility.Xunzi is the integrator of Confucianism in the pre Qin Dynasty,and advocates moral education of human nature through the way of "Yue".Xunzi’s theory of "Yue" has its historical and ideological origin.The five emperors had used "Yue" to record the education of the aristocrats.In the Western Zhou Dynasty,the "great Yue" system was established,and it was an important function to educate the noble children with "Yue".Confucius thought that "Yue" can achieve perfect personality,Zixia thought ancient Yue was beneficial to the cultivation of the country,Mencius thought that "Yue" had a profound role in human education.Xunzi systematically constructed his own theory of Yue on the basis of his previous history and thought about "Yue"."Yue" has a teaching effect on human nature.To understand why "Yue" has such a role in human nature,we must first understand Xunzi’s thought of human nature.Xunzi first understood human nature from the natural point of view,human nature is natural,including emotion and desire.So emotion and desire are also born.There is no difference between good and bad.Only when emotion and desire are indulged will they bring evil results and make human nature "evil".There are both positive and evil sides in emotion and desire.Human nature can bring good results and bad results.Therefore,Xunzi actively advocates the use of "Li and Yue" to educate human nature.In human nature,the emotion and desire for good and evil coexist simultaneously.The reason why "Yue" can play a role in human nature is to obtain explanation accordingly.That is,the reason why "Yue" can become a kind of teaching means and means lies in that human nature is the existence of sensibility first,and nature likes sensibility;and "Yue" as a form of emotional art is easy to accept for human nature.As a kind of emotional artistic expression,Zhengyin Yayue is in line with the nature of human love for sensibility,easy to accept,can stimulate the love of good and desire for good in human nature,and also can curb the evil feeling and desire in human nature,and improve human nature in the latent.In addition,"Yue" can make people abide by the "Li",and "Li" has the function of restricting,guiding and sublimating the human emotion and desire.Therefore,through "Yue" can promote people to follow the "Li",and thus help to the teaching of human nature.In today’s position,we should consider the thought of Yue theory of pre Qin Confucianists,including Xunzi.One of the disadvantages is to emphasize the moral and educational function of "Yue" and ignore the independent attribute of "Yue".This is a place to be abandoned today. |
