Analysis Of Botanical Museum Design Based On Narrative Research

It is undeniable that the importance of plants to human beings and to the earth cannot be ignored.However,people’s understanding of plants is not as deep.Nowadays,the harsh ecological environment of the earth and the shortage of plant resources have seriously affected the normal production,life,science and technology,and medical research of human beings.Therefore,people gradually began to reflect on their own series of behaviors.In addition,there are still many shortcomings in the professional knowledge and professional research on the relationship between plants and humans.Many plants suffer from the destruction of natural and artificial factors,which results in the lack of information on plant exhibits.The traditional exhibition display mode cannot effectively solve this problem,and it is difficult to present the exhibit information comprehensively,accurately and systematically to audiences.Plant science design is mostly based on the display form of the botanical garden,or a separate exhibition hall in a natural museum,combined with static display forms such as graphic panels and showcases.This old and stereotyped display form is no longer suitable for today’s plant science display design concept.It is not only difficult to meet the needs of audiences for plant science knowledge,but also directly affects the thinking mode and industry level of exhibition design.This research is mainly conducted through literature review,case studies,questionnaires,interdisciplinary research and other research methods.Firstly,a large amount of relevant literature are read and studied,and the previous research on the relationship between plants and humans is organized,analyzed and summarized.The case study and the questionnaire survey method are used to conduct on-the-spot investigations on the relevant contents of natural museums,and summarize the existing problems of the Plant Science Exhibition Hall.At the same time,the theoretical research and analysis of plant science display types are carried out,and the propagation characteristics of each display type are compared,which provides a theoretical basis for the latter design.This research topic takes the design of the plant tour exhibition hall as an example to explore the display space design based on the relationship between science plants and humans.The design concept of “letting the story into life and letting the life touch the soul” is proposed,enriching the content of science,and connecting the content in the form of a story line.
