As an English learner,the ability we pay attention to is divided into four parts:listening,speaking,reading and writing.Writing is expressing our ideas and conveying clear information through words.In senior high school,English writing has less time,which leads high school English writing to become a big obstacle.Therefore,writing is difficult in English daily teaching.Corder(1967)theory of error analysis(Error Analysis,abbreviated as EA)was widely spread in the 1970 s.The main function of error analysis theory is to reflect some internal rules in foreign language learning through the mistakes of learners.This paper discusses whether the writing teaching based on error analysis theory can effectively improve the writing ability and teaching effect of high school students.English writing is a project to test students’ comprehensive English ability.It covers a wide range of basic knowledge in English learning and can well reflect students’ comprehensive ability.This paper shows: first,how many kinds of mistakes have students made? II.What factors caused the mistake? Third,through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,what enlightenment can teachers and students get?According to this theory,I do a survey between two classes in Grade two,No.One Middle School in Daqing City,Heilongjiang Province.The first class as the experimental class and the second class as the reference class.
