| This paper takes the outline of the revision of the Civil Law in Japan from April 2020 as the object of study.The main contents include the occurrence of creditor’s rights,assignment,guarantee,extinctive prescription,defect guarantee,etc..The text of laws and regulations is concise,rigorous,clear,logical,relatively stable writing format and expression style,which belongs to a very characteristic type of text.In terms of content,the text involves the knowledge of the legal field,which requires the translator to have a good language reserve as well as strong professional knowledge and learning ability.This paper analyzes the differences between the source language and the target language in terms of language structure and social culture through the analysis of the object of the translation practice project,guiding the theory of translation practice and the process of translation practice,and adopts the functional equivalence theory to adjust the translation.This paper from three aspects: lexical equivalence,sentence equivalence,and stylistic equivalence,analyze the difficult sentences in the translation.The surface vocabulary information and deep cultural information expressed in the original text are summarized.According to the language characteristics of legal texts,we can interpret and complete the original translation,and probes into the guiding role of functional equivalence theory in the translation of Japanese legal texts.The purpose of this paper is to provide some research materials and practical references for the domestic legal translation field.It also provides a tentative study on the guiding role of functional equivalence theory in the translation of Japanese legal texts. |
