Western Skills,Chinese Soul

This paper takes Jiao Bingzhen as an example,starting from the understanding and application of Western techniques by early Chinese painters,and based on the painting of "Chinese style and western use",analyzes the complex political and ideological environment of the Qing Dynasty from the concrete expression of their painting creation,and reappears the historical picture of the exchange and integration of the two painting systems.At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty,the introduction of Western painting not only brought the innovation of painting techniques and methods,but also endowed painting with new political and cultural implications,resulting in new ideological conflicts and adding more complex light and shadow to the already complex historical pictures.Jiao Bingzhen’s representative work "imperial farming and weaving drawings" is actually the Manchu rulers through the way of drawing farming and weaving drawings to establish the process mechanism of inheritance of culture,the purpose of the implementation of enlightenment and admonition,Western painting in which,playing a role to satisfy the emperor’s curiosity,utilitarian aesthetic interest.With the introduction of western painting as the entry point,we can see the different aspects of Chinese society at that time,as well as the important and complex role of painting in culture,ideology,religion and politics.On the changing of Chinese art,Jiao Bingzhen of that era,is captured from the western painting,preliminary and systematically contact Chinese civilization(court,painting,political ideology,Chinese aesthetic temperament and interest,etc.)in the important moments,and Jiao Bingzhen and the meaning of "drive makes tillage weave diagram",in conflict fusion of Chinese and western culture is more clear.
