Research And Application Of The Evolution Of Miao Pattern Of Southeast Guizhou

In the context of my country’s efforts to promote the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,it is of great significance to study ethnic minorities’ clothing culture and ethnic handicrafts.The Miao is an ancient ethnic group with a long history and a bright culture.Miao costumes are historical books worn on the body,reflecting their philosophy of life,and Miao patterns are life recorded with crayons and embroidery needles.The variation in the Miao pattern originates from the simple life philosophy and expresses the life aesthetics and lasting creativity of the Miao peopleStarting from the living environment and humanistic background of the Miao people in southeast Guizhou,the pattern variation of the Miao people in southeast Guizhou is taken as the research object to explore the evolution trajectory and the expressed aesthetic thought in the process of pattern variation.Through field investigation and literature collection in the Miao area in southeast Guizhou,and collation analysis and comparative study of relevant data,the characteristics of the Miao pattern variation were analyzed,and finally pattern innovation and apparel design application were completed.Through the analysis and research on the living environment,development and changes,nature worship,ancestral worship,and philosophy of life of the Miao people in Southeast Guizhou,this paper found that the regional characteristics have influenced the natural worship and ancestral worship of the primitive religions by the Miao people,and thus affected the life philosophy of the Miao people.In the philosophy of life,the concept of equality between people and people,and the harmonious coexistence of man and nature is the ideological basis for the variation of the Miao people’s patterns.By comparing and analyzing the classification,arrangement,induction and comparison of the Hmong patterns in Southeast Guizhou,it was found that the basic elements of the Miao patterns are mainly characters,animals and plants.Use the combination of identity or opposition to combine the elements of characters and animals,animals and plants into a basic pattern of Miao ethnic pattern variation,and finally add internal and external combinations and external environments on the basis of the basic pattern,that is,add all See the elements of nature heard.Through a comparative analysis of a large number of objects and collections,it is concluded that the Miao people’s pattern variation techniques are mainly embroidery,batik,and paper cutting.Among them,the color application of embroidery is two types of cold and warm color matching of Qingshuijiang type and cold color matching of Duliujiang type.At the same time,the study found that the deconstruction,form,color and other aspects of the Miao ethnic pattern variation are similar to contemporary art.Taking the "Gushu Culture" in the Miao culture as the source of inspiration,Taking the five highly toxic animals "snake,centipede,scorpion,spider,and toad" in the gong technique as design elements,Through the simplification,deconstruction and reorganization of Miao’s pattern variation,the design and color of the five poison animal elements are innovated,Combining modern materials and craftsmanship has achieved innovative applications in apparel design.This article summarizes the characteristics of Miao ethnic pattern variation and applies innovative pattern design to modern clothing to realize the activation,inheritance and innovation of the aesthetic thought of Miao ethnic pattern variation.
