| As the most important representative of Marxism after the 20 th century,Guy Debord creatively put forward the theory of Society of Spectacle,from the perspective of which,he uncovered the mysterious veil of the continuous cruel exploitation of people by more hidden means in the western developed capitalist society,and deeply analyzed that the Society of Spectacle separated people from real life,misled people to worship blindly,losing the essence of existence.The study of Debord’s theory is of great significance for preventing people from spectacle infiltration and threatening in the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.This paper attempts to comprehensively explain its social manifestation,negative influence and action mechanism,and finally to find the solution.Firstly,by exploring its origin and social background,it finds out the theory is the inheritance and development of alienation theory of Marx and Western successor researchers,which is a sharp revelation that western developed capitalist countries begin to turn capital accumulation to domestic consumer market,and stimulate people’s unrestrained consumption by building an a seductive spectacle,ignoring their real needs,which is a critical theory based on the social background of the essence of exploitation.Secondly,by clarifying the theory,grasping the connotation and analyzing the causes,it points out Debord’s strategy of resisting the surrounding erosion of spectacle.Thirdly,by expounding the forms and characteristics of spectacle in people’s daily life,it reveals the potential despicable intention of it to restrain people’s ideology and people’s all-round development.Finally,under the background of China’s new journey of building a modern country in an all-round way,it analyzes the negative impact of spectacle phenomenon on China’s mainstream ideology,and puts forward strategies for the construction of China’s mainstream ideology from the perspective of spectacle criticism. |
