There is no direct evidence that the execution control resource is occupied or impaired, and the self-superiority effect will be manifested in the task. The present study adopted the self-connection learning paradigm and task switching paradigm to investigate the regulatory role of self-prioritization on task switching by comparing the responses of self and friends in different task types. It was a 2×2×2 threefactor within-subject design: social relevance(Self vs.Friends),the type of task(Repeat vs.Switch),and social information as the attributes of the task content(Goal vs.Distraction),and response rate was dependent.Experiment 1 used the perceptual matching paradigm to connect shapes with social information.By analyzing the performance of the subjects when performing task switching, the following results are obtained: when social information is used as a distraction, the self-reaction rate during repetitive tasks is significantly lower than that of friends;Under the same conditions, the switching cost of self is also significantly higher than that of friends. In order to further verify whether self-related information is stable in task switching, and to exclude the differences that might be caused by the physical properties of colors and shapes, experiment 2 connected social information with colors. The results showed that when social information was used as a distraction, the response rate of selfinformation was significantly lower than that of friend information.Under the same condition, the conversion cost of self was significantly higher than that of friend information. To sum up: compared with friends-related information,self-related information has a greater impact on the current task when used as an interference stimulus. When selfrelated information is used as target information,it does not show superior processing. When the self is used as interference information, the individual needs to consume more executive control resources to complete the conversion task.
