Along with the improvement of people’s living standards,tourism has become an important channel for people to improve their well-being.With the rapid development of the Internet,it is increasingly common for visitors to share photos on social media platforms.From the perspective of visitors’ photo sharing motivation,the influence of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on well-being is studied.By introducing the moderating variable of online social support,the moderating role of online social support between visitors’ photo sharing motivation and well-being was tested.With471 samples as the research object,a measurement scale of tourists’ photo sharing motivation,well-being and online social support was designed based on motivation theory and well-being theory.Factors analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other research methods are used to study the influence mechanism of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on well-being.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Visitor’s photo sharing motivation has a positive effect on social well-being.Reputation and selfdevelopment motivation has a significant positive effect on social cognition of social well-being,but not on social contribution.Reciprocity and social integration motivation has a significant positive effect on social contribution and social realization of social well-being,but not on social cognition.Pleasure and self-presentation motivation has a significant positive effect on social contribution and social realization in social wellbeing.(2)Visitors’ photo sharing motivation has a positive effect on psychological well-being.Reputation and self-development motivation,reciprocity and social integration motivation,and pleasure and self-presentation motivation has significant positive effects on psychological well-being.Pleasure and self-presentation motivation has a greater effect than reputation and self-development motivation and reciprocity and social integration motivation,and the latter two had approximately the same degree of effect.(3)Visitors’ photo sharing motivation has a positive effect on subjective wellbeing.Reputation and self-development motivation has a significant positive effect on life satisfaction in subjective well-being.Reciprocity and social integration motivation has a significant positive effect on life satisfaction of subjective well-being,while the positive effect on positive emotion is insignificant.Pleasure and self-presentation motivation has a significant positive effect on positive emotion of subjective well-being,while the positive effect on life satisfaction is insignificant.All the three motives are insignificantly related to negative emotions of subjective well-being.(4)Online social support played a partially positive moderating role in the effect of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on social well-being.Online social support plays a positive moderating role in the influence of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on social cognition,but not in the influence of tourists’ photo sharing motivation on social contribution and social fulfillment.(5)Online social support played a negative moderating role in the effect of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on psychological well-being.This is inconsistent with the hypothesis of the study.(6)Online social support plays a partially moderating role in the effect of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on subjective well-being.Online social support plays a positive moderating role in the effect of visitors’ photo sharing motivation on life satisfaction and positive emotions. |
