| In recent years,the domestic automobile industry has been booming.In the process of expanding the market,domestic automobile enterprises gradually realize the importance of English corporate profiles.A good English corporate profile serves not only as a powerful tool that helps improve their competitiveness,but also functions as a bridge that facilitates cooperation and development of Chinese corporations with foreign enterprises.Firstly,this report introduces the background of the project and the research status quo of relevant literature at home and abroad before it presents a systematic introduction of the project,including the content,difficulties or challenges of the project,and its significance.Next,by analyzing the language features of the text mainly through quantitative analysis and quantitative analysis,it points out the important and difficult points,including professional terms and other types of vocabulary,illustrating long and difficult sentences,before it describes the three stages of pre-translation preparations,understanding and reproduction,and post-translation revision.Then,by employing qualitative analysis,a case analysis is carried out according to the translation principles.In the light of communicative translation theory,Internet search engines,online dictionaries and parallel texts are used to help the author translate vocabulary,and translation techniques such as conversion,addition and omission are proved to be practical.To translate involved sentences properly,the author employs such translation techniques as division,combination,translation according to the original order and translation by means of different techniques.Finally,the author summarizes her findings and refers to shortcomings of the report.This report is intended to provide some enlightenment for the beginners who translate this type of texts so that they may get familiar with some translation methods and techniques and improve their translation quality. |
