A Study On The Writing Of The Battle Of Bozhou

The battle of Bozhou took place in the Ming Dynasty Wanli years when the court sent troops to calm down the battle of Yang Yinglong,which ended Yang’s rule in the state for more than 700 years,and since then the state area has been changed to return to the territory and placed under the rule of the court.This paper discusses the characteristics of war writing in different styles from the prose,poetry,novels and so on.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three chapters.The introduction part first explains the origin and significance of this paper,and briefly introduces the construction of the Bozhou and the battle of Bozhou.The second part of the introduction summarizes the research status of the battle of Bozhou.The first chapter discusses the prose writing on the battle of Bozhou.The prose writing the battle is mainly official documents made by Li Hualong and Guo izhang,such as discussion,consultative address,tickets,etc.According to different writing objects,these documents can be roughly divided into three types : the last article,the parallel article and the next article.This chapter is divided into two sections,the first section of Li Hualong’s flat narration is discussed.As the governor of the three provinces,Li Hualong’s narration reflects the overall arrangement of the war and the affairs of the three provinces,but it is also the governor of Sichuan.To some extent,it reflects the Sichuan perspective of its narrative.The second section analyzes the battle of Bozhou written by Guo Zizhang.Guo Zizhang,governor of Guizhou Province,tried his best to show the difficult situation of Guizhou in his narration,and his narration on the battle of Bozhou also reflected the Guizhou perspective of his narration.The second chapter discusses the poetry writing on the battle of Bozhou.Different from prose and novels,poetry writing pays more attention to emotional expression.The first section gives a brief introduction to the collection and author of the poems written on the battle of Bozhou.These poems are mainly included in the local chronicles.The second section discusses the main content of poetry writing.The author of the poem praises Li Hualong,Guo Zizhang and others in the poem,or expresses in the poem the desire to build meritorious service and the loyalty to serve the court,or expresses the joy of winning the end of the war and the yearning for a peaceful life.Among the battles between the official army and Yang Yinglong in many passes,the conquest of Hailongdun by the Ming army is the most frequently written in the poems.The third chapter discusses the war writing in the novel "Stories about Bozhou Battle".Different from the prose and poetry of writing the battle,the novels of writing the battle are mainly narrative and focus on writing the process of war.This chapter is divided into two sections.The first section explores the retirement of Li Hualong and Guo Zizhang in the novel as well as the prominent phenomenon of Chen Lin and analyzes the reasons for the formation of this phenomenon.The novel author does his best to highlight Chen Lin’s story in violation of historical facts,or under the instruction of Chen Lin.The second section analyzes the war writing of the novel,and thinks that the linear arrangement of story time and the combination of fiction and reality are the important characteristics of the war writing of the novel.
