Research On Huizhou Folk Songs From The Perspective Of Musical Ethnography

Huizhou folk songs,the carrier most directly and truely reflecting people’s social life and thoughts,are important components of Anhui folk music.It contains the interests and emotions of people living in Huizhou Area,and embodies their good wishes and pursuits.I’m doing an overall analysis of the artistic temperament and spiritual connotation of Huizhou folk songs from the perspective of musical ethnography,with the research technique of scientific materialism,and with the methodology of musicology and ethnography as the main theoretical basis.From a macro perspective,this article gives a cultural interpretation of Huizhou folk songs combining with regional and cultural environment.Firstly,use methodology of musical ethnography for reference practised in Huizhou folk songs;then on this basis,carry out necessary quantitative and qualitative analysis combining with the development background of Huizhou folk songs and related musical cultural characteristics;finally extend to the analysis of the present situation of Huizhou music and the expectation for its future development.From a mirco perspective,it makes an all-round,multi-angle and multi-dimension analysis and generalization for the historical evolution,classification form,music content and other important cores of Huizhou folk songs;meanwhile explores the artistic and cultural value of Huizhou folk songs.Research on musical ethnography is a dynamic process from “thin description” to “thick description”.Research on Huizhou folk songs naturally follows this principle as well.This article is a text display of the research on the dynamics of Huizhou folk music.It may not construct a complete musical form of Huizhou folk songs,but it can highlight the my research tendency and attitude.As for the analysis of the musical form of Huizhou folk songs,I also make a professional discussion on genre classification and musicology,such as melody and mode.The description and interpretation is based on the field investigation of the my own practice.It summarizes the research results and literature materials of previous researchers and uses objective theory to present them.Huizhou fork songs still need to be further sorted and collected extensively and deeply as well as to be further discussed and studied meticulously and systematically.It’s my great wish that it can blossom colorfully through our continuous efforts.I firmly believe that the inheritance and protection of Huizhou folk songs are fully guaranteed with the joint efforts of the country,the government and the people.At the same time,professional researchers of different social studies should also devote themselves to the research on Huizhou folk songs and provide all-round support for the development and protection of Huizhou folk songs.Limited to my research level,this article may not avoid some shortcomings or mistakes,I sincerely hope that experts and scholars within this industry can provide advises,making efforts together to bring Huizhou folk songs back to prosperity.
