Study On Hakka Folk Songs In Huizhou

Huizhou Hakka folk songs are popular in Huiyang county and surrounding areas.They are folk songs impromptu sung in Hakka dialect by Hakka people working in the mountains and fields,and are a symbol of Hakka music and folk culture.Huizhou is a city with a rich history and culture.Huizhou Hakka folk songs bear the life style,customs,religious belief and economic development of the Hakka people.In-depth study of Huizhou Hakka folk songs is conducive to the inheritance and promotion of its musical value and cultural value.Taking Huizhou Hakka folk songs as the research object,this paper systematically sorts out the historical origin and geographical location of Huizhou Hakka folk songs from the perspective of vocal performance art and ethnomusicology.Based on the literature and oral data,this paper discusses the musical form and artistic characteristics of the Hakka folk songs in its distribution areas from five aspects,such as music type,rhythm characteristics,tone scale,backing words and creation characteristics,and then analyzes the singing characteristics of Huizhou Hakka folk songs from the singing,language,singing form and other aspects.Finally,the status quo of Huizhou Hakka folk songs are investigated and analyzed,and some measures and suggestions are put forward to promote the inheritance and development of Huizhou Hakka folk songs.
