Study On The Creation Of Homestay Hotel Service In Light Of Regional Cultural Perspective

With the great economic development and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard,people’s demand for tourism is increasingly strong.Tourists’ demand for accommodation is not only satisfied with the basic guarantee function,but also more personalized and oriented to excellent experience.As a carrier combining local culture and architectural design characteristics,homestay hotel is becoming extraordinarily popular.With the rapid development of homestay hotels,a series of problems have emerged.The development of homestay facilities is more and more restricted by the monotonous design style,superficial design concept and lack of standardized management.Based on the active exploration of scholars and homestay hotel operators,the construction of homestay hotel combined with regional culture has attracted more and more scholars’ attention and research.At present,most of the studies on the relationship between regional culture and homestay hotel are focused on the physical dimensions of interior design,spatial layout and decoration of homestay hotel.This thesis takes the Nishan Academy Homestay hotel in Qufu as an example to conduct field research and analysis,explore from the perspective of regional culture,and combines the regional cultural elements and service scenario elements to build a holistic and distinctive home stay hotel,wishing to provide a new way of thinking for the innovative development of homestay hotels.Through the study,it is found that :(1)The service scenario of homestay hotel is constructed from the following four aspects,including physical dimension,social dimension,cultural symbolic dimension and natural dimension.In the physical dimension,the outdoor landscape elements of homestay hotel are expanded,and the regional design of homestay hotel is extended from the indoor focus to the creation of outdoor landscape and supporting facilities.In the social dimension,we should pay attention not only to the service personnel,but also the positive or negative influence of other customers upon the experience of tourists.We should manage other customers scientifically.In the dimension of cultural symbol,the planning of thematic activities is introduced to make the implicit regional culture explicit.(2)Each element of homestay hotel service scenario can be organically integrated with the natural,social and cultural factors of regional culture to create the service with local cultural characteristics.Tourists can experience the local cultural atmosphere more deeply in the complete homestay hotel service scenario.The elements of each dimension should be organically combined with regional culture in an appropriate,scientific and reasonable manner to avoid the superficial and unnatural copy and the loss of the core connotation and ideas of regional culture.(3)This thesis pays attention to the social elements in the service scenario and the role of the service personnel in the spreading and rendering of regional culture.The professional training and instruction to the service personnel can more accurately deliver the regional culture to the tourists.(4)The cultural connotation in the service scenario,through the realizing of the planning and organizing of the theme activities in the cultural symbolic dimension,makes the tourists more deeply experience the connotation of regional culture in those activities.All above are from a new view point the exploration of the relationship between regional culture and homestay hotel,which will provide an alternative perspective for the sustainable development of homestay hotel and the effective dissemination of regional culture.
