With the comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development of world politics,economy,culture and international trade has entered a period of rapid development.The role played by trade in this link cannot be ignored,and the continuous impact of trade on economic growth has gradually emerged.Therefore,the translator believes that the Chinese translation of works in the field of international business is a subject worthy of study.In this translation practice report,the author has selected two core chapters of Charles Hill’s International Business(seventh edition)-Chapters 12 and 13 as translation materials,which is about 10,000 words.These two chapters mainly introduce the strategy and organizational structure of international companies,and analyze and explain the organization and strategic alliances.The translation report consists of five main parts: introduction,theoretical framework,process description,case analysis and conclusion.Among them,the first part briefly introduces the background of this practical report,the type and structure of the meaning text;the second part refers to the development process of the Skopos Theory and the specific content of the three rules of the Skopos Theory;the third part is mainly about translation process,including pre-translation preparation,while-translation and post-translation revision;the fourth part is a specific case analysis,using specific examples to explain the specific skills and methods used in translating words,long and complex sentences,passive voice and discourse.The last part summarizes the findings and limitations of the translation.The translator hopes that the report can provide some experience and positive reference value for other translators.
