Spatial dimension words are words that describe the characteristics of various dimensions of objects.In modern Chinese,most of them appear in pairs,such as "big / small","high / low","long / short","wide / narrow","deep / shallow","thick / thin","thick / thin",etc.Among them,"big" and "small" are the first-class words in the outline of Chinese level vocabulary and Chinese character grade,which are significantly different from the other six groups of spatial dimension words in expressing the concept of space.First of all,"big" and "small" are the most active,frequently used and widely used.Secondly,"big / small" focuses on the description of things whose dimensions are not prominent,especially on the description of things as a whole.Through the investigation of HSK dynamic composition corpus,the author finds that "big / small" and the above six groups of spatial dimension words are prone to errors.Therefore,the author selects the error analysis theory to analyze these errors,and uses the unique qualitative and quantitative analysis of error analysis to describe and analyze the "big / small" error corpus,so as to explore the learning process and rules of second language learners Finally,find out the causes of errors,and put forward teaching suggestions,in order to achieve the good effect of learners’ correct use of spatial dimension word "big / small".The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the purpose and significance of the research,the research review,the research methods and the explanation of the source of the corpus.The second part is based on cognitive linguistics,analyzes the spatial cognition,salience cognition and metaphorical cognition of "big / small".In the "spatial cognition",the three subsystems of the spatial system,namely the direction system,the shape system and the position system,are used to make a comprehensive analysis of the "big/ small".Secondly,it analyzes the typical meaning behind "big / small" by using the "prominence view" of cognitive linguistics,that is,the prominence of integrity and the prominence of typical shape.Then from the perspective of metaphorical cognition,the characteristics of "generality" and "individuality" are obtained.Generality refers to the situation of "having big and small";individuality refers to the situation of "having big but not small" and "having small but not big".The third part of the HSK corpus is to make it smaller and smaller.And the error corpus can be reasonably divided into mispronoun,misorder,omission and misaddition.Finally,according to the errors of the spatial dimension word "big / small",this paper sums up the causes of the errors,and then puts forward some effective teaching suggestions. |
