| This report is based on the translator’s translation of the three essays from the book entitled China’s Belt and Road Initiative: Changing the Rules of Globalization,which consists of seventeen essays written by experts and scholars from different development fields such as geopolitics,economics,and organizational governance in various countries in the world.The book expounds the impact,role,and prospects of China’s Belt and Road Initiative from four perspectives or fields,while it deeply analyzes the Belt and Road Initiative in combination with the practical cases of mutually beneficial cooperation among China and other countries around the world.Guided by the three basic rules of the Skopos Theory,this report focuses on the Chinese reader and solves the problems and difficulties in the translation process,such as the differences between two cultures and the complicated structure of long sentences in the source text.This report deeply introduces the translation techniques,such as amplification,omission,conversion and division,through analyzing several typical examples.Finally it summarizes the gains and limitations of the translation practice,and provides reference for translation practice in the future. |
