| With the increasingly close communication between countries,the relevant political documents have become one of the best ways for the international community to understand China’s national conditions more deeply and accurately,which involves national policies and guidelines.Due to the authority of political documents,the translation process needs to be highly accurate and rigorous,and the translated text will directly affect the image of our country.Political documents have their own unique textual features.In the research process of translation theory and practice,the present study aims to explore how the translation can be more in line with the expression habits of Uyghur,be understood and accepted by the majority of Uyghur readers,what principles are applied in the translation and how to find the corresponding translation methods,techniques and expression,etc.Taking the learning questions and answers for the amendments to the 19 th constitution of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)as the research text,under the guidance of the Functional Equivalence Theory,chapter one is mainly about the basis of the topic selection,the significance of the research,the development and status quo of the Functional Equivalence Theory and political documents.The chapter two defines the related concepts and summarizes the stylistic characteristics of political documents based on the text corpus.Chapter three summarizes the translation principles of political documents under the Functional Equivalence Theory.Chapter four classifies the collected corpus effectively,compares and analyzes the content equivalence of vocabulary,the meaning equivalence of sentence and the style equivalence of rhetoric,and further explores the Uyghur translation of political documents on the basis of previous studies,so as to find the effective translation path of political documents.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of connecting with the previous text,the author states that corresponding methods need to be adopted to deal with the same information,fuzzy information,information change and information loss.It is not only to reproduce the structure of the original text,but also to translate the internal relations of the text.Finally,the conclusion explains that with the help of Functional Equivalence Theory,the translation process of political documents is examined more clearly,and a series of meaningful translation experiences are summarized to achieve deeper equivalence between the original and the target text. |
