| Color is the basis of the aesthetic value of the picture,and the color language reflects the color connection,color atmosphere and color tendency among the objects in the picture,which bears the expression of the artist’s sincere emotion.The subtle gray brings people a mysterious and elegant feeling.In the picture,gray not only plays the role of coordinating colors and unifying the picture,but the subtle changes of itself bring more vitality to the picture,the grays have been used to the full in the works of many masters.This paper analyzes the application of gray,a color language,in the process of Watercolor Painting,and discusses the study of gray in the light of color theory and the works of Painting Masters.The first chapter summarizes my watercolor work "velvet flower" and gives a brief explanation of the concept of gray,mainly discussing the definition of gray and the expression of gray in painting,through a case to show the embodiment of gray in the painting works;the Second Chapter Explores the use of gray in my creation,the final creation process of the use of gray summary analysis,it also discusses the prospect of Gray in the development of watercolor painting. |
