| In the 21 st century,China-Myanmar relations are getting closer, and there are lots of Myanmar literary translation projects. As an interview translation text,Aung San Suu Kyi: The Voice of Hope has the characteristics of strong interactivity, subjectivity and loose logic. As the actual record of the dialogue between the interviewer and the interviewee, interview texts are in fact strongly personal.During the translation process, the following three problems emerged: The historical context is complex, the religious theory is profound, and the interview mood is changeable.Under the guidance of the Interpretation Theory, author pursues the equivalence between the translation and the original meaning.By analyzing the causes of errors and summing up experiences, author finds some solutions to achieve value identification: First, the translator should proceed from recognition to identification,by analyzing the content of the original text with cognitive and sentimental equivalence;Second, the translator should proceed from linguistic symbols to understanding meanings, translator shouldn’t be bound by language form;Third, the translator’s subjectivity. The translation cannot be absolutely faithful or absolutely freedom. The translator must deal with it flexibly according to the actual situation.Through this research, the author hopes to provide a valuable reference for future interview translations and also provide important materials for related research in Myanmar. |
