Comments On Wanli’s Yansui Zhenzhi And Kangxi’s Yansui Zhenzhi

At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty,in order to resist the invasions of the remnants,the construction of the northern frontier defense was always emphasized.After the change of civil fortresses,the strategy of the Ming Dynasty to Mongolia turned to the defensive stage.During Chenghua period,Yu Zijun moved Zhenzhi from Suide to Yulin,and Yansui Town became one of the nine important towns in Ming Dynasty.After Chenghua,Hongzhi,Zhengde,Jiajing,Longqing and Wanli,Yansui Town has always been an important military barrier in the north of Ming Dynasty.By the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty,Yansui area was the earliest place where peasant uprisings broke out,so Yansui Town played an important role in geopolitics.Wanli Yansui Zhenzhi and Kangxi Yansui Zhenzhi are two important local chronicles in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Their contents cover the territory,mountains,rivers,systems,military affairs,folk customs,schools,celebrities,tribute and Fu of Yansui region.They are of great value to the relevant studies of Ming and Qing Dynasties.However,the current academic circles still have insufficient understanding of the value of the two chronicles.Less and less in-depth.This paper intends to make a further study of the compilation background,author,style,content and value of the two local chronicles by means of literature study and chart analysis,so that people can have a clearer understanding of the two local chronicles.
