Stady On The Diet Culcuer In The Epic Of "Manas"

Kirgiz culture,rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese culture,is an integral part of Chinese culture.Food culture is the most unique cultural form in Chinese culture.There are different types of food culture in different regions and times,while Chinese food culture has unique and individual characteristics.Under the multi-ethnic unified pattern,it shows rich and colorful forms.In the long historical development process,the Kirgiz have formed a relatively stable eating habits.It not only exists in material form,but also reflects in the epic Manas.As an encyclopedic work,the epic Manas contains rich food culture.At present,academic circles have some research on Kirgiz dietary culture,but there is still much room to explore the dietary culture reflected in the epic Manas.From the perspective of folklore,this paper studies the diet in the epic Manas by using the method of literature analysis.This paper consists of four parts.Chapter one elaborates the research purpose,significance,innovation,research methods and edition basis,as well as the research status at home and abroad.Chapter two elaborates the presentation of dietary folklore in the epic Manas.This paper collects,sorts and classifies the diet and utensils appearing in the epic,and analyses the diversified presentation of diet in the epic.Chapter three tells about the ritual food custom and its cultural connotation in Manas.This chapter is an important part of the paper.The ritual diet culture mentioned in the epic elaborates and analyses the different diets on different occasions such as life etiquette,hospitality,sacrifice and so on.Through these ritual eating customs,we try to explore the cultural connotation behind the ritual customs in Manas.Chapter Ⅳ describes the significance of special diet in the narration of the epic Manas.This chapter is the difficulty of the paper.Starting from the primitive worship concept and the traditional dietary concept,this paper,using Fraser’s research theory,discusses the strange birth of heroes,the food of heroic justice and the food of "divinity" in the epic Manas.In this paper,the author classifies and systematically analyses the food and utensils involved in the epic Manas.The dietary structure is mainly meat products and dairy products.The utensils are mainly boiled and processed meat products and dairy products.The diet in Manas is rich in the dietary characteristics of nomadic people.The dietary culture in the epic expresses people’s desire for a prosperous and happy life,and reflects the special animals,colors and food worship psychology formed by Kirgiz people since ancient times.The etiquette culture of hospitality and eating customs reflects Kirgiz’s social moral consciousness of paying attention to traditional moral norms and paying attention to etiquette.The study of dietary culture in the epic Manas has further improved our achievements in the study of epics and filled the gap in the study of dietary culture in the epic Manas.
