With the rapid development of educational information technology,multimedia teaching has begun to be popularized in middle school classroom.As one of the most important communication tools in modern society,the integration of English teaching and modern education technology has become an inevitable trend.Over the past decade or so,education and teaching software has sprung up,many schools have spent large amounts of money in installing educational software and train teachers to use them,but the effect of using educational software and its evaluation often did not keep up in time.Writing is an important part in English learning,but English writing teaching has always been a weak section in middle school English teaching.Studying how to use information technology to improve high school students’ English writing ability and interest is a further extension and expansion to the theory of integration of information technology and foreign language teaching.And it provides an example for senior high school teachers to use information technology to carry out writing teaching.At the same time,it also promotes teachers’ professional ability and technical competence.As for high school students,it can not only promote writing ability but also cultivate writing interest.In this study,the functions of Seewo educational software such as teaching materials,teacher-student interaction,mind map,multi-screen projection and hierarchical assignment arrangement were integrated into the teaching in order to promote the improvement of students’ English writing ability.This study addresses the following three issues:(1)How to deeply integrate Seewo educational software in high school English writing class?(2)What is the impact of deep integration of Seewo educational software on high school students’ interest in English writing?(3)Is there a significant effect on the improvement of high school students’ English writing level by deep integration of Seewo educational software in writing teaching? Based on the questions above,this paper takes 90 students of Class9 and Class10 of Grade 3 of Zhangzhou No.1 Middle School in Fujian Province as the research object to carry outa one-semester teaching experiment using Seewo educational software to deeply integrate with English writing,and collect data through classroom observation,questionnaire,semi-structured interview and writing test by means of empirical research.Before the experiment,the author carries on the English writing proficiency pre-test to the experimental class and the control class;During the teaching experiment,the author integrated the teaching materials push,teacher-student interaction,mind map,multi-screen projection,stratified assignment arrangement and so on in the experiment class,and used the ordinary teachers’ function(presenting PPT)to carry on the writing teaching;After the experiment,the author used the writing test questions to test the English proficiency of the experimental class and the control class,and conducted a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview on the experimental class.After the experiment,the author uses the data collected by the SPSS17.0 analysis experiment to get the results.This study found that compared with the traditional teaching methods,the combination of Seewo educational software and English writing teaching can improve the writing performance of high school students.It can improve students’ interest in English writing and improve their writing level.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey,most of the students have a positive opinion on this teaching model,and the results are consistent with the results of the experiment.The analysis of the interview results showed that the students were more enthusiastic and motivated in the English writing class using Seewo educational software.However,students also show that they hope that the software’s writing review function should be more perfect and intelligent.In the process of combining Seewo educational software and English writing teaching,the interaction of the classroom is enhanced,which improves students’ interest in English writing as well.Based on the research results,the author confirms the effectiveness of Seewo educational software in promoting English writing teaching,and provides a feasible operational reference for the deep integration of information technology and English teaching.
