On The Narrative Art Of Li Peifu’s Native Novels

The local novels created by Li Peifu,with its inseparable plain characteristics,have created plump characters and can consciously think about the current contradictions and difficulties and construct a unique local world.He put forward a brand-new era thinking,hoping to carry out spiritual dialogue between the city and the countryside,and comprehensively investigate the local flavor contained in the background of the times.In the process of Li Peifu’s writing and entering the literary world,every text presentation cannot be separated from the refinement of the author’s own narrative skills.He also gradually reveals the deep operational structure of the plain in his writing and his thinking of the times in the face of the power and desire of the local world through increasingly changeable narrative methods.The author stands on the plain land in memory and conceives that although there is inevitably the problem of limitation in writing,Li Peifu’s local novels have indeed made innovations in narrative art.This article uses the theory of narratology to study the narrative content and narrative techniques presented in Li Peifu’s local novels,exploring the reshaped and destroyed plain land,trying to discern the fundamental laws between them in the text and highlight the writing thinking contained in them.The full text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter takes care of the narrative art in Li Peifu’s local novels as a whole,and combs the text presentation of Li Peifu’s narrative art by summarizing the power narrative,urban-rural dual narrative and local vitality narrative presented in the local novels.The second chapter analyzes how the author uses narrative techniques to express the theme,promote the development of story plot,shape characters,and integrate personal thinking.On the basis of text analysis,the third chapter focuses on the various subjective and objective reasons for the narrative presentation of Li Peifu’s local novels,trying to grasp its narrative rules and the literary value embodied in its local novels.
