| Domestic comic-book live-action films are on a genre exploration.If we comb through the existing domestic comic book live-action film development,we can see that the Chinese film industry is influenced by the American and Japanese comic book live-action films.Coupled with the high demand of domestic movie-going groups and the increased commercialization of the animation industry,the development of domestic manga live-action films has entered a new stage.A detailed understanding of the adaptation strategies of these films can sum up the creative experience of manga adaptation of live-action films.The study found that,firstly,based on the difference in the characteristics of the comic and film media,domestic comic book movies strengthen the plot conflict and increase the emotional cues of the characters in the narrative adaptation,making the emotional expression closer to the mainstream audience.Secondly,in terms of character building,the new stage of domestic comic-book live-action films are striving to restore the character characteristics of the comics in terms of character shape and make-up,develop the spiritual core of the characters,and highlight the secondary style through the exaggerated performances of the actors,thus echoing the characteristics of the original comics.Thirdly,in terms of video style construction,domestic comic-book live-action films imitate comic-book sub-camera,and they are also designed with fantastical time and space in mind by producing visual effects according to industrialized film standards.The value of comic book live-action films is mainly in the commercial and industrial sense,compared to the average film.Through the interactive exploration of comics and comic book movies,and the analysis of their cross-media and cross-group practices based on the current market evaluation,we can present a more in-depth picture of China’s current comic book live-action movies and provide inspiration for the future of China’s comic book live-action movie creation practice. |
