| Li Xing’s films almost represent the epitome of the development of films in Taiwan in the 50 s and 90 s,including the strong characteristics of drama and literature in its spanning years and types of films,which,in addition to portraying and reflecting the pursuit and goals of life in social change,have also shaped many typical female images and natural images,which are behind the emotions between people,people and things,and place on the special cultural memory and historical feelings of that era.This paper connects many images of the mother and the image of the terrestrial mother into one,and will explore the spirit of the mother in Li’s film from three levels,namely,image prototype,prototype spirit and historical reflection,and try to interpret the deep information conveyed by them.In the course of research,this paper uses Jung’s prototype theory to analyze the type of the mother image in the image text,and by the critical perspective of Neumann’s criticism of the duality of the mother god,based on the image expression of the ground mother prototype in Li’s film,explores the cultural connotation behind the image and makes historical reflection.Li Xing’s film scours the same roots of the history and culture of both sides of the Taiwan Straits,and as a fan of traditional aesthetics and moral ethics,Li Xing still has certain limitations in the portrayal of female image semli and the expression of local culture.This paper analyzes its film creation from the level of the spirit of the geomother,which enables Li Xing’s film creation and cultural identity to obtain a new cognitive perspective and critical practice. |
