| Cultivating students’ English reading and writing ability is the objective requirement of the new curriculum standard,the internal demand of cultivating students’ core accomplishment of English subject,and the realistic need of the development and progress of the present era.There is a inextricable relationship between students’ English reading and writing ability.The development of one side will promote the progress of the other side.The teaching effect,efficiency and benefit will be improved by combining the two teaching.However,in the process of educational practice,the author finds that there are some phenomena in high-level English teaching in primary schools,such as emphasizing listening and speaking,neglecting reading and writing,neglecting the relationship between them,not further excavating the strategy of promoting reading and writing,missing the opportunity to improve students’ reading and writing ability synchronously.In order to further investigate the problems and explore the causes of the problems,the author,on the basis of learning related theories,uses questionnaires,interviews and observation methods to approach the teaching line and carries out related research.In view of the problems in the investigation and the consideration of optimizing the combination of reading and writing in primary school,the author puts forward some optimize strategies from the aspects of reading and writing,especially in the application of writing and reading strategies,such as combining reading and writing from words to sentences to text and combining writing activities,methods,reviewing writing achievements with stimulating students’ interest in reading and cultivating students’reading ability and habits,we should pursue steady teaching step by step.The author hopes that this study can provide a reference for first-line teachers to carry out the combination of reading and writing teaching in upper grade primary school. |
