Study On Construction Activities In Liangshan Area Of Ling Guangdian(1936-1949)

This paper mainly studies the construction activities and influence of Ling Guangdian in Liangshan area in the period of the Republic of China through the method of literature combing,and expects to be able to perspective some basic attitudes of the government of the Republic of China in dealing with ethnic affairs.In fact,the Liangshan area construction activities carried out by Ling Guangdian were carried out under the complex background of the Republic of China.First,Ling Guangdian’s own experience is twists and turns.He was born in the Tusi family,but the family has declined,and then because of the warlord hit the suffering of the family and ran away from home.However,Ling has the opportunity to receive a more systematic education,fate has also changed,and went to the road of politics.Second,the social environment faced by Ling is complex.At that time,the traditional governance was in urgent need of replacement,the new governance system was slow to develop,and the social contradictions in Liangshan area were numerous.Under such circumstances,Ling exerts the utility of news public opinion and makes use of the advantages of multiple identities to carry out construction activities in Liangshan area.On the one hand,Ling is committed to improving the living environment in Liangshan,including promoting the development of education,promoting daily life change and resolving social disputes peacefully.His reforms,however,were limited by the social environment and failed to expand what had been achieved.On the other hand,Ling also fought for the right to participate in politics in Liangshan area.He participated in two petitions and was also the organizer of the second petition.In fact,the two petitions have not achieved substantial results,can be said to be the same.Such an outcome could be an important factor in the eventual separation of local minorities and even local power from the Republic government.Therefore,it can be said that the government of the Republic of China to govern Liangshan area policy is not appropriate.But it is undeniable that the construction of Ling Guangdian has had a positive impact on Liangshan area and has been praised by people.Therefore,the author believes that the construction practice of Ling Guangdian,although limited by the times,has not greater achievements,it still has important pioneering significance for Liangshan area.It can even be said that this is actually his attempt to promote the integration of Liangshan and the mainland.
