| The Tujia and Yi,like other ethnic groups,have a very long history and profound cultural background.The two ethnic groups have great similarity in language,and the similarity in language promotes the cultural exchange between the ethnic groups,which makes Tujia and Yi people closely related in the course of the development of ethnic culture.In addition,Tujia and Yi tiger totem worship originated from Fuxi,which has been the focus of many scholars.The comparative study of tiger totem worship is helpful for us to understand the communication and communication path of the two ethnic cultures,and to provide some available examples for the tracing of the origin of the two ethnic groups.First of all,totem is the product of the development of human society to a certain stage.Tiger totem worship in the Tujia and the Yi,in line with the law of historical development.The reason is that its appearance is the result of the influence of multi-tiger environment and clan security culture.Since then,tiger totem worship has been regarded as a clan belief,integrated with the historical development of the Tujia and the Yi,and widely distributed in the Tujia and the Yi areas.Secondly,the appearance and prevalence of tiger totem worship in the Tujia and the Yi show some differences and commonalities.Through literature analysis,historical research and comparative research methods,this paper fully draws lessons from previous historical data and research results,and discusses the differences between Tujia and Yi tiger totem worship in creation myth narration,tiger worship attitude and tiger worship sacrifice activities,and the commonness in tiger myth and legend theme,tiger belief custom and tiger culture elements.Specifically,the difference in the narrative of creation myth: the tiger as an auxiliary thing in Tema Song;the tiger as the master of all things in Meige.The difference in tiger worship attitude: Tujia respect white tiger and drive white tiger;Yi respect black tiger and drive white tiger.The difference of tiger worship and sacrifice activities: the difference of tiger totem dance;the unique "tiger festival ".Similar themes of tiger myths and legends: about the birth of man;about the transformation of man and tiger;about the relationship between man and tiger.Similar tiger belief custom: the custom of "swallowing mouth" to ward off evil spirits and eliminate disasters;the custom of dancing and mourning.Similar elements of tiger culture: things named after "tiger ";tiger ornaments culture in life.Through combing and analyzing,it is considered that geographical location,historical culture are the main factors that cause its difference,while "soul view ",cultural inclusiveness,similar cultural root and economic base are the key to the formation of its commonness.Finally,from the perspective of cultural and historical significance,based on the similarities and differences between Tujia and Yi tiger totem worship,it is of rich cultural and historical significance to discuss the unearthed family and Yi tiger totem worship:In primitive society,tiger totem determined the unity of blood of clan members,and in modern society,tiger totem promoted the inheritance of ethnic culture.The connection between ancient and modern is the embodiment of the historical development of the Tujia and the Yi,and also a vivid portrayal of the cultural community of the Chinese nation. |
