| The main research background includes the problems in the teaching practice of English grammar revision lessons of senior3 and the wide application of flipped classroom teaching strategy in China.In teaching practice,the writer finds it is common for English grammar revision lessons to be inefficient.The students’ learning interest is not motivated and the autonomous learning ability is not cultivated.The flipped classroom teaching strategy transforms the traditional teaching model,which is dominated by teachers’ lectures,activates the classroom atmosphere,stimulates the students’ learning potential,and focuses on creating a high-efficiency classroom based on motivating the students’ learning interest,thus adapting to the trend of the development of English teaching in China.Therefore,it is of great practical use to conduct the research on the flipped classroom teaching strategy in English grammar revision lessons and it meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard.The research attempts to answer the following three questions:(1)Can flipped classroom teaching strategy improve students’ grammar learning initiative and strategy?(2)What kind of influences will flipped classroom teaching strategy have on different types of students?(3)What problems will emerge during the application of flipped classroom teaching strategy in grammar revision lessons of senior3 and how to solve them?The main methods applied in this research include questionnaire survey,teaching experiment research and individual interview.In questionnaire survey,the author designs a questionnaire concerning the learning attitude and ability of senior students to explore whether flipped classroom teaching strategy can improve students’ learning initiative and strategy.The author chooses Class 2,Grade 3 as the experimental group to apply the flipped classroom teaching model.Three grammar tests are conducted before,during and after the teaching process.The data of each test are compared and analyzed to form the conclusion.Individual interview is designed to investigate the problems which emerged during the application of flipped classroom teaching strategy and how to solve themThrough this research,the author finds the application of flipped classroom can improve the students’ learning confidence,effectively enhance the problem solving ability and knowledge basis.The data of the three grammar tests prove the flipped classroom can improve students’ grades solidly,especially for the underachievers.The individual interview points out the problems during the application process,including the poor efficiency of preview,the difficulty of making and choosing the proper micro lesson video and the top students’ low degree of discussion participation and low grade improvement efficiency.The corresponding solving strategies are offered to promote the continuous improvement of this new teaching model. |
