Multiple Perspectives Of "一+NP1+NP2"

“一+NP1+NP2" is linguistic expression that Chinese speakers are very familiar with.As a linguistic form,it is very common in spoken and written Chinese,each grammatical item of "一+NP1+NP2" has its own feature.This dissertation will disassemble the overall structure of "一+NP1+NP2",and explore the roles they play and functions of"一","NP1" and "NP2",as well as their syntax、semantics、and pragmatics.Firstly,we focuses on the syntactic of "一+NP1+NP2",and explore it from two perspectives-internal structural features and external functional features.We found the unique difference of "一" from other numbers,except the counting function of the itself,under specific language environment,after blurring of numeral meaning,different derivative meanings can be expressed.For "一+NP1+NP2",its semantics are related to the numeral meaning and derivative meanings of "一".Then,we explored the selectivity of NP1 and NP2.NP1 is a noun or nominal phrase that connects "一" and NP2.We have summarized several types of nouns that can be used as NP1:time nouns,location nouns,nouns representing tools,nouns representing seasons,nouns representing body structure,etc.For the selection of NP2,we need to explore through the determined NP1.By subdividing and generalizing different nouns,we list the characteristics of NP2 when NP1 is determined.We will explore the external features of "一+NP1+NP2" by comparing it with the temporary quantifier structure.We summarize the "一+NP1+NP2"that can be regarded as the temporary quantifier structure as type 1,and that cannot be regarded as the temporary quantifier structure as type 2.Secondly,We explored the semantic characteristics of "一+NP1+NP2".When the"一" cannot be replaced by other numbers,it has the characteristic of universal-quantification.Whether it is a subject sentence or an object sentence,when the"一+NP1+NP2" itself has a circumstantial characteristic,the circumstantial characteristic of the entire sentence will not change.For the semantics of "一+NP1+NP2",it has metric characteristics,subjective characteristics,blurring characteristics,etc.Finally,through the comparative analysis method and the summary method,we explored the pragmatic characteristics of "一+NP1+NP2".Type 1 has strong subjective characteristics,and type 2 has the characteristics of highlighting key points.Then,"一+NP1+NP2" has the function of expressing subjectively large amounts and subjectively small amounts.Expressing subjectively large amounts is more common.In "一+NP1+NP2",there are fewer cases of subjectively small amounts,and in this case,there are higher restrictions on the choice of NP1.
