| Tarkovsky only shot seven feature films in his whole life,but have profound impact in the film history.He not only practiced a completely different path from Hollywood commercial films,but also constructed his own unique art world.Deeply infiltrated by Russian cultural tradition,Tarkovsky has a spiritual ideal that transcends the world.He has been burdened with a yearning for transcendence to work and live religiously throughout his life.His art always points to the highest spiritual existence,and he repeatedly stated his beliefs in films,works and interviews.This article attempts to analyze belief in Tarkovsky’s works,restore the director’s creative intentions,and reveal the hidden themes in the images and texts.First of all,I reviewed the Russian cultural tradition inherited by the director,analyzed Tarkovsky’s religious thoughts and artistic concepts,and then explored several dimensions of the connotation of belief that support Takovsky’s artistic concept.Then it analyzes the way Tarkovsky conveys beliefs in his creation and the way the audience experience the spiritual connotation of directors,and analyzes how the truths Tarkovsky pursues are implemented in his films from visual and auditory perspectives. |
