In recent years, the discovery of self-other differences in decision-making has made people realize that there are different decision-making tendencies when making decisions for different people.Studies have shown that people tend to be conservative when making decisions for themselves, but when making decisions for others, they tend to be more adventurous. If the social distance between others and people themselves is different, whether there is a difference in this kind of adventurous behavior becomes our research direction. When making decisions, context descriptions will also have an impact on people’s decision-making behavior.Prospect theory believes that people are more sensitive to losses than gains and show different risk preferences. Then the differences in self-others decision-making in different situations are worthy of our attention. In decision-making,it is usually accompanied by uncertain risks and unstable time.Previous studies only discussed the characteristics of risky or intertemporal decision-making from the perspective of risk or time.In real life,decision-making may include both risk probability dimension and time dimension,risk-intertemporal decision-making integrated risk and time has been become the research choice. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of risk-intertemporal decision-making situations and social distance, and analyze the changes in risk-intertemporal decision-making when the risk is increased or the time is prolonged. This article contains three studies. In Study 1,the IOS scale is used to manipulate social distance to analyze whether there is a difference in risk-intertemporal decision-making for oneself and others with different social distances in different decision-making situations; In the second study, change the risk probability in risk-intertemporal decision-making,and analyze when the probability changes, whether the individuals makes decisions for themselves and others with different social distances, whether there is a change in the intertemporal decision-making;in the third study, change the prolonged time in risk-intertemporal decision-making,analyzes the changes in intertemporal decision-making when individuals make decisions for themselves and others with different social distances when the prolonged time increases. The results found that:(1)The main effect of social distance is significant. With the increase of social distance, the proportion of people who choose to postpone for others increases;(2)When the risk increases, the proportion of people who choose to be determined now and risk now increases. The proportion of the risk of choosing postponement decreases;(3)When the time of postponement increases, the proportion of people who choose to decide now and decide to postpone increases, and they are more inclined to make definite choices, and the proportion of deferred determination is greater than that of now.The above results show that:(1)The influence of social distance on risk-intertemporal decision-making exists.Individuals are more conservative when making decisions for themselves. When individuals make decisions for others,as social distance increases, people making decisions for strangers more inclined to seek risk.(4)When the risk probability is reduced from 50%to 25%,the risk increases, individuals tend to make decisions without waiting time, and at the same time choose to avoid risks and choose certain options when faced with high risks.(5)When the waiting time is extended, the discount rate becomes smaller, and people tend to choose the option of a larger amount, and more choose to wait for a longer time in order to obtain greater benefits or avoid greater losses. |
