This article takes the state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect as the research object, and analyzes the state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect from three aspects:form structure, semantic characteristics and grammatical function. The state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect are different from Mandarin and other dialects in the Hubei province. From the comparison, the characteristics of state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect are more clarified. The introduction of the article mainly introduces the human geography of Jingzhou, the main factors affecting the formation of Jingzhou dialect, and the phonetic system of Jingzhou dialect. It also combs the research status of state adjectives and state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect, and elaborates the meaning and research methods of the selected topic of this article. In the second chapter,we focused on the overlapping state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect, including the overlapping single-syllable adjectives AA and the double-syllable adjectives overlapping AABB,ABAB,A 里 AB,and special overlapping ABAC and 无A 巴 A.First, through comparison, some characteristics of state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect that are different from those in Mandarin are found. It is believed that the AA form in Jingzhou dialect represents the speaker’s rough impression of the person or thing, and the AA form usually only expresses a small amount,Generally,it does not indicate the degree of depth. In addition,AABB and ABAB also have a small number of special expressions in Jingzhou dialect.Secondly,we conducted a horizontal comparison of these overlapping forms and their internal differentiation forms, and found some semantic differences, including that the AABB style usually focuses on the description of the things, sometimes containing "A and B",the meaning of it is strongly descriptive, while ABAB emphasizes the degree of emphasis;the ABAC formula A 头 A 脑 usually describes people, while the description object of A 巴 A 草 can be a thing or a person. Finally,we have also conducted a detailed investigation of the semantic features of the partially overlapping 无 A 巴 A.On the whole,无 A 巴 A represents a super large amount between a large amount and an extreme amount. The emotional color of 无 A 巴 A contains a derogatory color, the A which can enter the 无 A 巴 A must be an adjective that expresses the attributes of things, has a large number of characteristics, and the emotional color is derogatory or neutral.Judging from the degree of expression, these overlapping forms have a stronger degree characteristic than before the overlap. In Chapter 3,we focus on the state adjectives in Jingzhou dialect, which mainly include cA,Ac,Acc,AAcc,Acde,A(B)c,ABcd.We describes its structural, semantic and grammatical characteristics. In terms of structure, this type of state adjectives are mainly composed of monosyllable or double-syllable roots with affixes and similar components;in terms of semantics, they are mostly descriptive, degree, and has some emotional color;in terms of grammar, most of them can act as predicates, complements, and attributives, and a small part can act as adverbials. At the same time, this chapter makes a horizontal comparison of these attached adjectives.By comparing the cA formula and the Ac formula,it is concluded that the Ac formula emphasizes the description and the cA formula emphasizes the degree of expression;by comparing the Ac formula with Acc,Acde and AAcc,it is concluded that in terms of degree and descriptiveness,Ac<Acc<AAcc,Acce, and speculate that the degree of expression and description of the state adjective form may be related to the length of the syllable;by comparing the description of A(B)c and ABcd,it is concluded that A(B)c is prominent The quantitative characteristics and the visual characteristics of ABcd style. In Chapter 4,we analyzed the state adjectives of "AB 哒" and "AA 声" in Jingzhou dialect, and researched their usage in other dialects and similar formats, and compared the usage in other dialects with them in Jingzhou."AB 哒" is composed of double-syllable adjectives plus "哒",and double-syllable adjectives AB can be divided into two categories according to whether they can be used alone with "哒".In terms of speech, when AB 哒 is used, the accent generally falls on B,and B will have speech prolongation and tone change,"哒" sometimes weakens or even falls off in the speech stream.Semantically,AB哒 has the characteristics of descriptiveness, high degree and subjectivity."AA 声" is mainly composed of "AA" and "声".A is mainly composed of verbs and onomatopoeias."声" has lost its lexical meaning and only serves as a word formation component.Semantically, the verbs that can form the "AA声" format must be operative, sustainable and non-autonomous.Compared with similar expressions in Mandarin,"AA 声" is more vivid and expressive, and it also has a certain degree of meaning.Through literature survey and corpus collection,we found that in addition to Jingzhou, other areas in Hubei Province, such as Xiangyang,Xianning,Xiaogan, etc.,also have these two statements and similar formats, but there are still some differences with Jingzhou dialect. The "AA 声" in Xiangyang and Xianning can be used as adverbials. The similar format "AA 生生,AA 叽叽" in the Yunxian dialect can also be used as an adverbial, but the "AA 声" in Jingzhou dialect can only be used as a predicate and complement. As far as "AB 哒" is concerned, there are some differences between different localities. The Zhongxiang dialect is "AB 啊的",and the Suizhou and Xiaogan dialects are "AB 了的".
